Week 8 GBM: Faculty, Professional, Graduate Mixer
Monday Feb 25. 6-8pm. Earl Warren College Room (Price Center).

Come to the Pilipino Undergraduate Society for Health's Week 8 General Body Meeting which, as an added bonus, will also be a Faculty, Professional, and Graduate Mixer. It will be a perfect opportunity to network with UCSD and local alumni and health professionals pursuing and/or currently in the field. So come meet, mingle, and get to know better the people that make up the org. Food/snacks will be provided.


Other Opportunities 

Resume Marathon - Need to polish up your CV? On February 21, 1:30pm – 3:30pm, the Career Services Center will be hosting a resume marathon where industry professionals will  provide their expert critique. No sign-up needed, just bring your resume.

Writing Your Personal Statement - Come to this session on Friday, February 22 12pm at  Career Services Center, Horizon Room if you’re getting ready to apply to a health professional school.  Learn about the purpose of the statement, the content to include and how to organize it.  Learn the “do’s” and don’ts” to be competitive and get started writing it!

SDSU Catch the Wave Conference - will be held THIS Saturday, February 23 at San Diego State University. The conference gives students the opportunity to many workshops, meet professional school admissions representatives, learn about different volunteer organizations to get involved, hear first hand accounts from practicing health care providers, and network with current health professionals as well as other pre-professional students.
