We would like to establish and host our 1st Annual Health Summit! Our purpose is to reach out to the greater San Diego community to promote not only professional careers in the health field but a personal healthy lifestyle for the individual. While the Health Summit will focus primarily on the Pilipino population in San Diego county, both college and high school students from any social, cultural, or economic background are welcome to attend.
We are also very proud to present our keynote speaker for this event, Connie Mariano, M.D. Dr. Mariano is known for her various achievements, especially being the first military woman to be the White House Physician (for President Clinton). As an alumnus of UCSD and a member of the Pilipin@ community, we are excited to welcome her back to San Diego for this event.
