The UCSD School of Medicine and several other medical schools have adopted the MMI format for the final stage of their admission process.
What is MMI?
The MMI consists of a series of short, carefully timed interview stations in an attempt to draw multiple samples of applicants’ ability to think on their feet, critically appraise information, communicate their ideas, and demonstrate that they have thought about some of the issues that are important to the medical profession.
To help current and future applicants practice their skills and receive feedback, UCSD's Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) and Student National Medical Association (SNMA) will be hosting a mock MMI on Saturday, August 23rd, at the UCSD School of Medicine Campus from 9:30am-3:00pm.
