2013-2014 P.U.S.H. Board Application


The P.U.S.H. 2013-2014 Board Application is now live!

Eligibility:

You must have attended 2 P.U.S.H. events by the application deadline.
(Attendance at an open board meeting counts as an event. Attendance at the 2013 UCSF PUSO Undergraduate Recruitment Day counts as 2 events)

Position Descriptions:


Publicity: In charge of sending out PUSH emails, contacting HMP3, creating and distributing flyers, managing the Facebook group, and sending out Facebook events.

Operations (Secretary): In charge of taking minutes during meetings and important discussions regarding PUSH, booking rooms, counting voting ballots, retrieving mail, working with Ourstorian and Publicity, and responsible for GBM sign-in sheets.
Faculty/Professionals/Graduate Students (FPG) Liaison: In charge of contacting faculty, professionals, and graduate students, maintaining relationships with FPG, keeping FPG aware of our events, and creating a mixer for undergraduates and FPG. Must host a minimum of one FPG event per quarter.
Conference Coordinator: Coordinates trips to different health related conferences, evaluates conferences, keeps connections and follows up with other conference coordinators, organizes rides and itineraries, and works with the Treasurer for funding and budget.
Events Manager: In charge of executing events throughout the school year. Also, coordinates with the FPG Liaison in hosting a mixer for undergraduates and faculty, professionals, and graduate students. Must host a minimum of two social events per quarter. Collaborates with treasurer for fundraising events.
Treasurer: In charge of finances, funding, reimbursements. Responsible for filing for TAP. Must approve expenditures.
Education of Health Awareness: Deals with the organization’s community involvement as well as the academic component. In charge of organizing and hosting weekly study hours, as well as tutoring events.
Ourstorian: In charge of documenting events, taking pictures and/or videos, uploading media to social networking media, and managing apparel.
Co-Presidents (2): In charge of facilitating meetings, checking in with other PUSH positions, serving as the main representatives and spokespeople for PUSH, upholding the PUSH mission statement as well as the productivity and professionalism of PUSH, and are the holders of all official documents.
